big, Huge, GIGANTIC announcement

Can you tell I have exciting news? LOL.

Well, I DO.

Back in February Jolene Perry, who also writes under Mia Josephs and I decided to write another book together. It was our second one. I had a small piece of my boy's story and conflict in my head. I told her about it and she ran with it. She came up with an awesome girl. The more we emailed, the more my guy started to form in my head.

One phone call later, we knew their story.

Then it was time to write.

There's something I have to tell you about Jolene/Mia and I. We both write pretty fast. We both have the ability to get...obsessive? LOL. Which works well for us, especially when we work together. It's a BLAST to write a collab because we get to play off each other. I can't wait to write my chapter when I get hers. I love making my guy do something new or different because of what she wrote in the chapter before.

It's awesome. So awesome we had a rough draft written (70k) in 22 days.

I'm not saying that's a good idea. I don't think it is, because we pretty much didn't sleep and ignored everything else in our lives, but we had this book that we loved.

Then came editing and beta reading, more editing and more beta reading. Yada yada. I'm totally rambling and not getting to the point am I? Are you going CRAZY? LOL.

Okay, I'll get to the point. We wrote a book called MISPLACED. All I can say for now is that it's about a rock star drummer who meets a hockey girl while stuck in Alaska.

And we've sold it to Entangled Publishing.

*throws confetti*

*Screams*

*dances* (and I am NOT a good dancer).

I am SOOOO stoked about this book. I love it so much and Bishop is probably my favorite boy I've written. I LOVE Jolene's girl too. I'm so excited to share more about the book with you guys soon.
